My stay at Marriott Knoxville Downtown was a mix of great and some not-so-great. The location was perfect for my husband's speaking engagement at the Convention Center, really convenient. The check-in process was super easy and the room itself was spacious and clean. However, I was let down to find the hot tub closed and tiled over in the pool area, which was a bummer. Plus, I heard a lot of noise from emergency vehicles nearby at night, which disrupted my sleep a bit.

Rooms

My room was spacious and clean, featuring comfy bedding that made for a good night's sleep. However, I found the lack of a microwave a bit inconvenient, and the window soundproofing could've been better due to nearby traffic noise.
Service
9.0
The staff went above and beyond with their helpfulness and friendly demeanor. Even when their system was down, they stayed professional and upbeat, which I really appreciated.

The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from Market Square and attractions, which made exploring Knoxville super easy. It was also connected to the Convention Center, perfect for my husband’s event.

The pool area was nice, but I was disappointed about the hot tub being closed. Valet parking was convenient, though it added an extra daily fee. The fitness center was well-equipped and inviting, which I liked.

I had a mix of experiences during my stay, with some positives and a few frustrations. The hotel's location is fantastic, sitting right downtown and close to various attractions. While I appreciated the efficient check-in process and the comfort of my room, I encountered issues with staff interaction that could definitely be improved. Overall, I would stay again due to the convenience, but I hope for better service next time.

The room was clean and quite spacious, allowing for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed the quality bedding, which helped me sleep well, though I found it a bit small for the price. A mini-fridge and streaming access added to my comfort.

The location is a definite highlight. Being right in downtown Knoxville made it easy for me to access restaurants, shopping, and the convention center directly across the street, which was perfect for my event.

Although the breakfast buffet at the restaurant seemed pricey, the quality of the food—especially the hot dishes—was impressive and worth the cost. Room service also delivered delicious meals to my room.
Facilities

The hotel was well-equipped with various amenities, including valet parking which was necessary in the busy downtown area. However, I wished there were more options for self-parking sinceI'm not comfortable with valet service.
